The best beaches of Cantabria

Dicido Beach (Mioño)
Windy beach of strong waves composed of golden sand and gravel. It has a low level of equipment.
Ris Beach (Noja)
Ris beach is one of the best beaches in the Cantabrian area. It is semi-urban and has an always waving blue flag, which attests to its cleanliness. It has approximately three kilometers in length of fine white sand and is composed of a shell-shaped bay with the small islands that form its surroundings: that of "San Pedruco" (with its small medieval hermitage and wild fig trees) and to which it can be accessed at low tide; that of "La Oliva" and that of "El Mazo de las Onions", all of them almost always covered with seagulls. The ends of the bay are made up of the Rock of Suaces and Punta Garfanta.
Beach located in the town of Comillas that has a high influx of public. It offers golden sand, a pleasant promenade and all kinds of services. The Blue Flag flies on it.
San Vicente de la Barquera beach
The coast of San Vicente de la Barquera offers several kilometers of beaches with extensive sand.
Langre Beach (Ribamontán al Mar)
Very large beach nestled in an attractive mountain environment. It is a beach with strong currents and windy, which makes it very popular with surfers. It does not have equipment. It is accessed through the adjacent Langre II.
Covachos Beach (Santa Cruz de Bezana)

Berria Beach (Santoña)
The beach of Berria is located in the north of Santoña and was formed by the trawlers that deposited two sea currents in the opposite direction, North-South and South-North. Santoña was an island in ancient times and its waters poured down this part of the beach, but the water flow was blinded by the action of the winds, forming a sandbar and a line of dunes with vegetation that were preventing the drain to the sea and thus formed an isthmus, which is the current beach of Berria.
Sardinero Beach (Santander)

La Salvé beach (Laredo)
